License agreement


General use

These house plans are prepared to meet generally accepted residential building practices. kabn® makes no guarantees that these plans will meet your specific local building codes or site conditions. It is the Licensee’s responsibility to verify compliance with all applicable codes and regulations.

Consultation with your builder and local building authority is recommended before submitting for permits.


Liability

kabn and all individuals involved in the creation, production, or delivery of these documents disclaim all liability for direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from their use.


License rights

This license grants the Licensee the right to build one (1) home per plan purchase or free download. Copies may be made as needed for construction of that single home.

Any modifications must be reviewed and approved by a licensed structural engineer and your local building authority.

All plan sales are final and non-refundable. These Terms & Conditions apply to all plan sales and downloads from kabn.


Stock plans disclaimer

These house plans have been prepared without knowledge of your specific site or geographic conditions. Variables such as frost depth, soil conditions, seismic loads, and wind loads are not accounted for. Compliance with local building codes — including dimensions, egress, detectors, and materials — is the sole responsibility of the Licensee and their builder.

Use of these plans without proper adaptation is at your own risk. kabn® assumes no responsibility for modifications made by others and provides no warranties regarding suitability.

The Licensee agrees to indemnify kabn® from any claims, costs, or damages arising from use of these plans.


Builder responsibilities

Before construction begins, the builder must verify all dimensions, confirm code compliance, and review structural, mechanical, and electrical requirements.

Dimensions govern over scale. Codes govern over drawings.

Please report any discrepancies to kabn®.

kabn does not provide construction supervision and assumes no responsibility for construction methods, sequencing, safety, or adherence to these plans.


Copyright

This is a license, not a sale of original documents. kabn® retains full ownership and copyright of all original and copied materials.

The Licensee may make copies as necessary for construction of one home per plan purchase or download. Additional build rights may be purchased from kabn®.

These Terms & Conditions apply to all plans.
